  Your salad makes my day at work! Both the tuna salad and the chicken salad are perfect!! All the meals are simple and good! Also very fresh!

  I just had lunch here on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. A really good friend told me about this place that has been here for over 16 years, but the new owners just took over a little over a month ago. They have great options, whether you want hot dogs, a sandwich, soup or salad! I love hot dogs so I had 2 chili cheese hot dogs, a small side of potato salad and lemonade...all that, only $8. I met Tammy, one of the awesome owners, as soon as I walked in. She greeted me with a huge smile and welcome and gave me the run down on what my options were. My food was ready rather fast and it was so delicious. It was a beautiful day out, so I sat outside. There are high top table to stand at inside as well. I can't wait to come back and try a sandwich. Everyone there is very nice and the customer service is great! I've found a new hot dog place!!

  Aww man we really wanted to like this place more than we did. It wasn't bad, but we didn't love it either..
  
  We went for lunch last week... I ordered a couple hot dogs - one with chili & cheese (my go-to), and one with chili, spicy mustard, slaw, red onion jam, and I added hot sauce. My gf ordered the chicken salad sandwich. Everything was fine, we will probably come back at some point, but we weren't blown away. Everything tasted kind of sweet to me.. I think maybe their chili is sweet. Also, their slaw was really sweet which I don't prefer.
  
  The best part is the inside of the restaurant, in my opinion. I like the standing only tables and the old Andy Griffith & 3 Stooges pictures. I also like the hats hanging from the ceiling.. would like to hear the story behind that one day. My gf mentioned that it looked like it would be a good breakfast type place. It didn't look like they served breakfast, but maybe something to think about one day...?

  We used to come here at least once a week for the salads...then, they stopped carrying them. Such a shame because those salads were delicious. I haven't been here in quite some time. Their hot dogs are pretty decent and their sandwiches are good as well. My husband used to rave over their macaroni salad....the good old days.
  When I went in today, the place was empty which is odd because there is usually a line despite the time of day. The weather is yucky and the lunch rushed has probably passed so maybe it is not an omen. However, I was shocked and disappointed to see a health score of 91 posted on the wall (since January).
  I only recognized one of the employees, which is also strange because it has been a family run business for years.  I will definitely say a longer prayer over my food today.

  So I'm visiting Raleigh and found this little gem of a sandwich shop. The potato salad is delicious, sandwiches are so good (we had a Ruben and Chicken Salad sandwich). Spring for the deli size because you'll want that much
  It's yummy! You won't be disappointed!
